This week Rip will be joining Whole Foods Market in Portland and Seattle for their Forks Over Knives screening events.  If you’re in the area, join him!

FORKS OVER KNIVES examines the profound claim that most, if not all, of the so-called “diseases of affluence” that afflict us can be controlled, or even reversed, by rejecting our present menu of animal-based and processed foods.  The major storyline in the film traces the personal journeys of a pair of pioneering researchers, Dr. T. Colin Campbell and Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn (Rip’s Dad). Rip is also featured in the film, touring Engine Two participants at a WFM.

Portland
The Portland event will include both a Meet & Greet reception with Rip and Q&A session with Rip, Matthew Lederman, M.D., and film creator and executive producer Brian Wendel.   

The Meet & Greet will take place at The Mezz in Whole Foods downtown store (NW12 and Burnside; 8 blocks from the theater) from 4:30-6:30pm.  Come and enjoy complimentary snacks, live music and book signing.  Suggested donation of $5 will benefit Sisters of the Road-B Share Program.

WHEN:  Wednesday, October 27th, 4:30-6:30pm, Meet & Greet with Rip; 7:30 pm “Forks Over Knives” screening

Seattle

The Seattle event will include a Q&A session with Rip, Matthew Lederman, M.D., and film creator and executive producer Brian Wendel.

    met you at opening of whole foods what a delight. I am at your website it seems kinda hard to imagine no dairy no meat but we want to get and stay healthy and oatmeal do you cook it ?
