Thank You for a Great Year!

Screen Shot 2012-12-31 at 9.19.19 AM

There is so much we have to be thankful for this year! And so many people that we are thankful for. 2012 was a great year for Engine 2 and we are hoping that 2013 is even better!

A few highlights from 2012:

Farms 2 Forks

We had our first “Farms 2 Forks” events! People from all over the map came out to our Farms 2 Forks events to have fun, learn, and get a jump start in changing their health for the better! We had a blast at all of of our events, and we are very excited for all of our 2013 events! Many thanks to Adam and Jillian of “Health Talent Group” for making these events a huge success.

Our Plant-Strong Educators

We could not do what we do without the people who have dedicated their lives to helping others become healthy. We have been so fortunate to have an amazing group of educators helping us in countless ways. A special thanks to our guest speakers at Farms 2 Forks events and immersions: Jeff Novick, MS, RD , Doug Lisle, PHD, Dr. Esselstyn, Dr. T.Collin Campbell, Ann Esselstyn, Jane Esselstyn, Rich Roll, Brendan Brazier & Lindsay Nixon.

Food Line!

We have a brand new food line that many of you have already noticed popping up in Whole Foods! On the shelves so far: salsa, crackers, “Rip’s Big Bowl Cereal”, hummus, tortillas and almond milk! We have lots more coming out in 2013. A special thanks to Dani Little who has helped tremendously in our launch of the Engine 2 Food Line.

Engine 2 Extra

We started a brand new support community that is growing more and more each day. We are so thankful for the E2X community. We are truly amazed by how people have been transforming their lives and mostly how this small community is jumping in to help one another achieve their plant-strong goals. Stay tuned tomorrow – we will have a special announcement about E2X and a very exciting New Years offer.

Website re-design

We went through a major website re-design in 2012! We love the new site and all it has to offer. Thanks to Vegan Mainstream for making it possible, and a very special thanks to Stephanie at Vegan Mainstream.

Ami Mackey

In 2012 we welcomed Ami Mackey as an E2X Coach and guest blogger. Ami has been writing “Adventures with Ami” each week and we have loved it! We look forward to reading about her adventures in 2013!

Char Nolan

We also welcomed Char as an E2X coach and guest blogger this year! Char has been writing “Keeping it Simple with Char” each week and teaching how to make plant-strong more simple. We can’t wait for what she has in store in 2013!

The College Greens

A few months ago we got an e-mail from a group of 3 college friends. They wanted to be involved and help in anyway they could. It’s not often that we get e-mails like that from college students, and we were not sure what to expect, but over the past several months we have been blown away by these three students. They have volunteered their time and have been inspiring people of all ages to become plant-strong! In 2013 they will be helping us with a few awesome projects!

Plant-Strong Recipe Creators

We are always amazed by the creativity of those who come up with great recipes. This year we have loved trying out recipes by Lindsay Nixon (Happy Herbivore), Cathy Fisher (Straight Up Food), Susan Voisin (Fat Free Vegan) and Dreena Burton (Plant-Powered Kitchen).

Our other amazing guest bloggers!

We are so fortunate to have amazing people who love to help others. To all of our guest bloggers this year, we thank you for being willing to jump in and help people through the lessons you have learned!

28 Day Challenges

In 2012, Whole Foods Market hosted 28 Day Challenges throughout the country! Thanks to all of you who participated and came out each week!

E2X Success Stories!

We can’t get enough of all of the success stories. We have heard from people who have completely transformed their health in 2012 and we want to give a HUGE congratulations. You did it! From people losing weight, to reversing T2 diabetes, getting off cholesterol medications, quitting smoking, having normal blood pressure to people who completed their first marathons, triathlons and more. Your success stories are what keeps us going and drives us to find more ways to get the plant-strong message out!

We have so much to be thankful for this year and we can’t wait for 2013!

A few things to look forward to in 2013:

The NEW book! The next Engine 2 book comes out in May of 2013! We think you are going to LOVE it! And there are over 100 new mouth-watering, plant-strong recipes!

Farms 2 Forks Events: We have 4 “Farms 2 Forks” events happening this year. We still have a few spots open at each one, sign-up before all the spots are gone.
