Good news from Tara in Little Rock!

Every Friday we share some good news from someone who has become plant-strong. Today a note from Tara, her enthusiasm is contagious!

” Almost a year ago my husband took a leap of faith and left his job to work for Whole Foods.  When I say that it has changed our lives, I mean in every way possible!  (Shout out to Whole Foods Little Rock, AR)  We couldn’t soak up enough information.  As we learned more and more about food and food production it sickened me that I didn’t even know any of this information.  What a challenge we had before us but we had no idea where to start!  With both me and my husband being overweight and way to young to feel the way we did we wanted to change, and our new environment that we were put in began to lead the way!  My husband was moved by a man in Austin that he encountered at a meeting.  He inspired him and my husband came home on fire and let me know what we were about to start!  I was completely on board.  I had already begun to eliminate meat from my diet and was ready for the next step.  The first few months of this process was almost euphoric. (Not without temptation though) We couldn’t believe that we felt so good and the weight was melting off….literally!  After 8 months it feels as if there was never any other way.
After starting this process I wanted to shout it from the mountain tops….GO READ ENGINE 2 DIET!!!!!!  I wanted my family and friends to benefit from this as well.  I was so disappointed after the first few explanations of what I was doing.  No one was receptive….no one wanted to know more….people were sceptical…..how could it be good for you, they would say!!!!  I had decided at that moment that I would have to be a living testimony of E2 and when the time was right for each individual person they would come to me.  (Of course there was some gentle guiding involved)  After 8 months I would say that I have had some of the dearest people, family and friends and even my own parents, come to me wanting to know more about my transformation and what is involved and how can they do it!  I am committed to changing peoples lives with E2…..it has become my new passion…..and for that I am forever grateful.  Thank you!!!!

P.S.  My husband and I have almost lost 100 lbs together!!!!!!”

What an awesome story! Thank you for sharing Tara – we are just a few months into being plant-strong and we have never felt better :)
That is so great that your husband’s work was able to be such a positive influence on you both – congratulations and keep spreading the word!

I love stories with happy endings. We started a plant-base, no added fat diet on October 15, 2010 and are still going strong. Nothing has felt more right. I lost 20 pounds and my husband has lost about 100 in the past couple of years by exercising every day and now this way of eating. I wish all our friends and family and the whole world would do this!

Thanks for sharing your enthusiasm, Tara!

    Hi Tara,

I just started, I mean, like I am on day 2 of E2 diet, and it is going to be hard, but I am in it to win it. I purchased the book and I am reading it.

    Best regards,

    Joseph
