19 Oct Forks Over Knives WFM Pre-Screenings with Rip in Chicago and Fort Collins
FORKS OVER KNIVES examines the profound claim that most, if not all, of the so-called “diseases of affluence” that afflict us can be controlled, or even reversed, by rejecting our present menu of animal-based and processed foods. The major storyline in the film traces the personal journeys of a pair of pioneering researchers, Dr. T. Colin Campbell and Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn (Rip’s Dad). Rip is also featured in the film with his fellow Engine 2 firefighters talking up the PlantStrong way of life.
This week Rip will be joining Whole Foods Market in Chicago and Fort Collins for their Forks Over Knives screening events. If you’re in the area, join him!
The Chicago event will include both a Meet & Greet and Q&A session with both Rip and Chicago resident, Dr. Terry Mason, the Chief Medical Officer of Cook County Health System — both of whom appear in the documentary.
The program will also include a special goodie bag to all people who rsvp in advance. Admission to events is FREE and open to the public on a first come, first served basis.

Fort Collins, Poudre Fire Authority Fundraiser
The Whole Foods Market event in Fort Collins will be a fundraiser for the Poudre Fire Authority. Participate in a free Health Fair and book signing with Rip prior to the movie!
Suggested donation of $5 will benefit the Poudre Fire Authority to help repay them for their recent efforts in fighting seasonal wildfires.
