Feeling on the wild side? Try these delicious and wild tacos!
1 package of Engine 2 Wild Rice Blend Grain Medley
4-6 tbs Engine 2 Salsa
5-6 oven baked corn taco shells
1/2 cup black beans
Chili powder to taste
Oven baked corn taco shells:
Pre-heat oven to 375
Wrap corn tortillas in a slightly damp paper towel
Microwave (to steam) for 25 seconds.
Then, place corn tortillas on your oven racks, so that they drape over the sides.
*Note: it they might take a few seconds to start looking like taco shells.
Bake for 7-10 minutes or until crispy.
While your corn tortillas are baking, it is time to make the wild rice grain blend!
In a pan, heat up Wild Rice Medley Grain Blend using 2 tbs of water.
Add in 1/2 cup of black beans.
Add in chili powder (to taste)
Stir until mixture is hot all the way through.
Take taco shells out of the oven, and building your taco! Top with chives, Engine 2 Salsa and a few jalapeño slices (if you are daring!)
