I recently got into FOK and the diet after seeing the film and it really resonated with me considering my family history of various cancers and diabetes. I would really love to incorporate the diet in my household but we have several really serious food allergies including but not limited to corn, soy, nuts, wheat, eggs, etc. Almost all of the recipes here seem to include at least one ingredient that we're allergic to, in fact the one of the only things we aren't super allergic to is meat. We aren't crazy about meat and usually only eat white meat 2 or 3 times a week tops and have to take multivitamins to compensate but I'm also dealing with children who are notoriously picky eaters and I don't want to push it. I was planning on bringing this up with our allergist on our next visit but in the meantime I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for allergy friendly foods.

Thanks, Melody

I'm in the same book with my son. He's allergic to wheat, corn, soy, oats and peanuts and some other legumes. When it comes to lunch and dinner I can work around many receipes but often I have to make him a different meal leaving him left out at times. Now we're switching to a whole foods plant based diet and I'm not sure how to address his needs. The kids can't just have whole wheat toast with almond butter and an apple every day for breakfast.

I appreciate any sugestions. :)
